AI Processing — Google Gemini
- Your styling chat messages, relevant wardrobe context, and photos used in AI features are sent through our backend to Google Gemini for clothing analysis, image processing, outfit recommendations, and styling advice.
Cloud Storage — Convex
- Backend database for wardrobe items, user profiles, outfits, and chat history.
Cloud Storage — Cloudflare R2
- Clothing photos and processed wardrobe images are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage.
Payment Processing — RevenueCat
- Subscription status, purchase receipts, and customer identifiers linked to your Wearly account are shared for payment processing and entitlement management.
Analytics — plumb (when enabled)
- plumb is our product analytics service. When enabled, the app uses the PostHog client library to send usage events to our endpoint at stat.celados.com.
- Usage events (screens viewed, features used, sign-in, onboarding, and purchase steps) with a session identifier and device and app information (model, operating system, app version, language, time zone). After you sign in, events are linked to your account ID.
- The app does not include photos, wardrobe descriptions, chat text, or email addresses in its plumb event fields.
Attribution — AppsFlyer (when enabled)
- Install attribution, device and advertising identifiers, and sign-in and purchase conversion events are processed for marketing measurement. Events can be associated with your Wearly account identifier. Subject to AppsFlyer's privacy policy and applicable device permissions.
Error Monitoring — Sentry (when enabled)

Push Notifications — Expo Push Service
- Push notification tokens for delivering notifications to your device.
Weather & City Lookup — ipapi and Open-Meteo
- The app contacts ipapi.co to estimate your city and coordinates from your IP address, then sends those approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo for a forecast. These requests expose your IP address to the respective service. The app does not request GPS location.
Authentication — BetterAuth (self-hosted)
- Authentication session management. Social login flows involve Apple and Google identity providers.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is shared only as necessary to provide and improve our services.
4. AI Data Practices
Wearly relies on artificial intelligence to provide its core features. This section explains how your data interacts with AI systems.
What Data Is Sent to AI Providers
- Text messages in the styling chat (Muse)
- Wardrobe item descriptions and metadata (for context-aware recommendations)
- Photos selected for clothing analysis, including scan photos processed before you confirm which items to save
How AI Processes Your Data
- Google receives the content needed to process your AI requests; its handling of that content is governed by the Gemini API terms and the applicable service account configuration
- Responses are generated in real-time and streamed back to the app
Important AI Disclaimers
- AI-generated outfit recommendations are suggestions, not professional fashion or personal styling advice
- AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect biases present in training data
- You assume full responsibility for decisions made based on AI-generated content
Your Control Over AI Data
- You can delete individual wardrobe items and their associated AI data at any time
- Account deletion schedules removal of the chat history stored in your Wearly account
- You may stop using AI features at any time without losing access to manual wardrobe management
Provider Data Practices
- Google's data-use and retention terms depend on the Gemini service used. See https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms
- Contact hello@celados.com for questions about how your AI requests are processed
5. Image Data & Photography
Wearly processes several categories of images:
Clothing Photos
- Uploaded from your device's camera roll or captured in-app
- Stored in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage, linked to your account
- Used for wardrobe display, outfit composition, and AI analysis
- Retained until you delete the item or your account
AI-Generated Images
- Processed wardrobe images
- Stored in cloud storage, accessible only to your account
- Retained until you delete them or your account
We do not share your photos publicly. Images are accessible only through your authenticated account.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:
- All network communication uses TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS/WSS)
- Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device
- Backend data is hosted on Convex's managed infrastructure with encryption at rest
- Cloud-stored images are accessible only via authenticated, time-limited URLs
- The app disables Sentry screenshots and view-hierarchy attachments; error reports may still contain identifiers and diagnostic context
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
General Rights
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data

- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed
- Deletion removes account access and schedules removal of wardrobe items, outfits, chat history, media, and push records
- Purchase and credit transaction records are retained; your user identifier is replaced in retained credit records
- Deleting the app account does not automatically erase records already held by payment, analytics, or error-reporting providers
To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@celados.com.
8. Data Retention
- Active account data (profile, wardrobe, outfits) is retained as long as your account exists
- AI chat history is retained for the duration of your account
- Account deletion schedules removal of wardrobe items, outfits, chat history, and media as described above

- Analytics and diagnostic records are managed separately and may remain after account deletion; contact hello@celados.com about these records
9. Children's Privacy
Wearly is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer the service to users under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information through Wearly, contact hello@celados.com so we can investigate and address the account and data.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws. By using Wearly, you consent to these transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable laws.
